Washington had a 6:15 wake-up call this morning and a long flight back to Seattle.

“Nobody seems to mind when you have a game like this,” coach Lorenzo Romar said following a 69-67 win at Arizona that was another instant classic in a trilogy of fantastic games between the teams.

— Arizona coach Sean Miller said he didn’t want to press Washington on its last possession. However, Josiah Turner tried to draw a charge on C.J. Wilcox and was given a foul. It was a questionable call. Wilcox, a 90 percent free throw shooter, went to the line and made two game-winning free throws. Said Miller: “Of course we don’t want to put ourselves in a position to take the charge but that’s all part of a comeback in a fast-paced frenetic couple of minutes.”

— Arizona announced that forward Kevin Parrom will miss the rest of the season with a broken bone in his right foot. On Friday, Miller said Parrom was essential to the Wildcats having a successful season.

AROUND THE PAC-12:

— Washington plays UCLA at home Thursday and the Bruins (12-9, 5-4) come into town riding a two-game win streak after destroying Colorado 77-60 at the Sports Arena. Lazeric Jones had 17 points and nine assists to lead a balanced attack in which four players scored in double figures. UCLA has won five of the last seven games, but it is 1-4 in Pac-12 road games.

— Colorado (14-7, 6-3) trailed 40-36 at halftime and completely fell apart in the second half. The Buffaloes battled with UCLA until they gave up two three-pointers in the final minute of the first half and was outscored 37-24 after the break.

— Trent Lockett (ankle) didn’t return, but Arizona State soldiered on without their best player and captured a 71-61 win over Washington State behind Carrick Felix’s 20 points. The Sun Devils (7-14, 3-6) snapped a three-game losing streak.

— Washington State (11-10, 3-6) was also missing one of its top players in Faisal Aden (knee) and the Cougars failed to capitalize on Brock Motum’s career-high 34 points.

— Garrett Jackson and Maurice Jones scored 16 points and USC never trailed in a 62-45 win over Utah that snapped a nine-game losing streak and gave the Trojans (6-16, 1-8) their first Pac-12 victory. USC has just six available scholarship players due to a rash of injuries.

— Utah suffered its fourth blowout in the past five games. In the losses, the Utes (5-16, 2-7) have not reached 50 points.

— California (16-5, 6-2 Pac-12) and Stanford (15-5, 5-3) face off in the basketball version of the Big Game today. Both teams had bright freshman classes in 2010, but only Cal’s Allen Crabbe has stepped to the forefront.

— Oregon (15-5, 6-2) seeks to regain a share of the Pac-12 lead when it faces cross-state rival Oregon State (13-7, 3-5) in the basketball version of the Civil War.
